The Royal Knights rolled through the Lakeside Eagles of Nine Mile Falls in the opening round of the 1A State Football Playoffs. The Colville Indians have rolled through everyone this season. After an unblemished regular season, the east side's top-ranked team jumped out to a 46-0 first half lead in the opening round against La Salle and cruised to a 52-14 final.
When the two league champions clash this Saturday in Moses Lake, both will be stepping up to their best competition of the year. Both teams also seem to be peaking at the right time. It should be a great battle.
Two high-scoring, but vastly different offenses pitted against very stout defenses. Will we have an offensive shootout or a defensive battle?
The winner will move on to face the winner of Zillah and Cascade in the semifinals.
