This Friday the Knights will carry their #1 seeding into the SCAC league crossovers and host the Goldendale Timberwolves in a loser-out game. For Goldendale, making the trek to Royal has practically become a tradition, as the two schools have met in the crossover week more often than not over the past few seasons. Last year the Timberwolves came their closest to defeating the Knights, but weren't able to maintain their lead as the game wound down.
Goldendale is led offensively by experienced QB Lucas Denney, who is the second best passer in the SCAC West and also leads the Timberwolves in rushing. Will Denney be able to put enough pressure on the Knight defense to bring home the victory and move on in the playoffs or will the Knight defense be the ones applying more pressure than Denney can handle? Royal has the three leading scorers in the SCAC East and had seven different players score their eight touchdowns last week. Will Royal's offense be able to maintain their balanced attack and move on undefeated?
