Congratulations Colville Indians and Newport Grizzlies. It will be quite the state championship. I think they proved the NE A league is the toughest 1A in the state this year. Pick'em Challenge - Semi Finals

Score updates
Injuries are the worst. I hate hearing things like that. I think Mt. Baker starting QB went out early in 2nd Q with concussion too and Royal had a couple of starting linemen go out with knee injuries also. Those types of things really add up this time of year.- Front Row Joe

Who has best chance
I haven't seen Lynden Christian play so just looking at scores and schedules I would say Colville. LC lost to Mt Baker by 1 TD and beat Mt Baker by 1 TD and Royal beat Mt. Newport
I’m not too surprised. I’ve seen both teams play (on their respective internet feeds) this year. Both teams real physical on defense but offensively dont put up a lot of points. I don’t think Zillah played any great teams until last night.- Front Row Joe

Opinions on substitution.....
If team A is up by 40, then team A’s number 2 squad is probably adequate to play team B number 1 squad. I’d be curious to see scores of Monday’s JV game after varsity’s meet and have a 40 point spread. JV from team A will most likely be as good as varsity team B.- Front Row Joe

Meridian - I happened to be in Wenatchee when Meridian played Colville so I made the trip to Peshastin and I was very impressed. Meridian small in stature but disciplined and determined.
