District 1 2A is the hardest district in state.

The top 4 teams rank in 2A are in district 1. Top rank Burlington-Edison, 2nd rank Squalicum, 3rd rank Sehome and 4th rank Lakewood are all in district 1. Any one of them that don't come ready to put it all on the line could be upset and not make it to state. So come ready to run your best time this weekend at South Whidbey or you may be staying home. Tough Times for Bellingham and Archbishop Murphy

These two teams finished 5th and 6th in a very tough District but not going to state. That's the way it goes though. Good job to both teams on a solid year, especially Archbishop Murphy who had a break-out season and looks tough in 2010 (all runners returning).
