Exciting News For 8-Man Fans!!!

The NIFL (National Indoor Football League) has added two new expansion teams to the League.....they are the Tri Cities Fever and the Everett Hawks. This league is patterned after the Arena Football League that you see on television in the Spring. It is 8 on 8 and they play in Arenas with fields that are 50 yards long and 26 yards wide.

It is a lot of wide open hard hitting action just like you are used to in your high school 8-man game. If you get a chance this Spring, you need to see one of these games.

Yes, you are right on the money 8 is enough, this is great stuff. Also there is the Evergreen football league, semi-pro 11-man football as well. Featuring teams from all around Eastern Washington (Walla Walla, Tri-cities, Yakima, Moses Lake, Spokane, Moscow Id).
All of these programs, both 8-man indoor and 11-man feature many local athletes... check em' out in your local area and you will more than likely find somebody you know. I do know that the best kicker in the EFL league hails from Touchet, Jesus Solis still has what it takes to boot 55 yarders (I have called these games and seen him do it). In fact, almost half of the team from WW was from small schools, Touchet, Waitsburg, Dayton, Prescott... it's great to go watch our local talent still struttin there stuff!
