Is anyone playing?

I saw:
Cashmere beat Royal 3-2
Cascade Christian beat Sequim 8-6
Sultan beat Meridian 10-3
Overlake pounded UPrep 13-2
Coupeville thumped Concrete 10-0

I watched Naches beat Prosser last night. Naches has a very deep pitching staff. Much better than I expected. They also have some big bats. They look like the same old Rangers. Expect to see them in Yakima County Stadium on Memorial Day weekend.

naches had 3 key guys out in the first game. but looked very good in the second one, coming up with a lot of big hits and very good pitching.

Why did they have 3 guys out and do you have the scores?

Cashmere over Eastmont 3-2 in 9 innings
Kiona Benton over Naches 7-5
Naches Valley over Ki-Be 14-4
Zillah over Riverview 10-0 & 12-3
Tenino over Highland 5-4 & 12-5
Castle Rock over Toledo 5-3
La Salle over Royal 7-3
Overlake over University Prep 4-3
Royal over La Salle 6-1
Goldendale over Columbia-Burbank 14-2 & 11-2

I heard that both Bellevue Christian and U-Prep didnt have some of their key starters due to eligibility issues. I think that would definitely factor in to those lobsided scores. U-Prep looks decent this year with Andrew Petersdorf pretty much carrying the team.

U-Prep beat Cedar Park last night. Cedar Park looks to be the best team in the ECL this year, but U-Prep must have got their key players back from eligibility issues. BCS is still in question though with freshman phenom Matt Carlson not getting any AB's yet.

cashmere now 11-0. Swept Lem Elways #10 ranked Chelan 14-0 and 17-0. Cashmere now has 108 runs and has given up 6. Thats with Wenatchee, Eastmont, Royal, Blaine and Meridian as the non league matchups. These guys will be tough.
