Skyview looks to have a tough path to the finals at the Sho-Ware vs #1 Ranked Mt Rainer of Des Moines. They will host the 4th place Narrows team on the 15th. Anticipating that they take advantage of the home court, they will most likely face perennial contender Auburn-Riverside at Rogers HS. A win there should put them in an easier contest with an un ranked Narrows 1st place team. But in the finals, Mt Rainer will probably be waiting. Making the challages in the Dome seem rather distant.
Prairie looks to have a smoother ride to the Sho Ware. They should face an un-ranked 3rd place team at Bay then travel to Clover Park to deal with #9 Auburn-MV. Beyond that, the #3 Wilson team will be waiting in the finals. Lots a really good Matchups prior to the Dome.
Who will be victorious at the Sho: the Storm?Falcons? Either or both.

Auburn Riverside is no joke. A traditional winning program. Watched an online broadcast of one of their games this year. They, in addition to Mt Rainier, will indeed make a tough road for Skyview.

Also.... Go Falcons!

It would be something if Skyview won the 4A and Prairie won the 3A. We would be the Spokane of the SW.

The projected Narrows #1 Wilson has been flying under the radar for most of the season. They are currently 20-2 after yet another lopsided contest with Lincoln last night.
The Rams of Tacoma have put up very impressive numbers averaging over 72 points a game, and allowing only 36ppg, over 20 steals, 35 rebounds and 15 assists per game,
Their two losses came at the hands of National contender Potters House and the thuggernaut of the NW Oregon City.
A trio of juniors head up the charge for the Rams. Leading scorer Briggs, at 6-1, Averaging over 15ppg and 8 boards
Playing center is 6-4 Vangen. Guard Montgomery will average over 14ppg shooting 41%
from beyond the arc.
Wow.

Update as reflected in the ST today:
Skyview moves to #4 after Mt Rainer and Stanwood stumble from the top spots. The Storm are healthy, big and deep, all goods things to possess in late February if you want to bring home a trophy.
Odds have it that Statewide's Falcons will face an improving Lakes team that has moved to the #6 spot on Friday. The victor will presumably meet the #7 team from Auburn Mt.View with #3 Wilson odds favorite to meet in the finals.

Who needs the Dome? Invite Kamiakin over for coffee and call it a season saving $$,$$$ for our dear DEAF friends at the WIAA.

Bad luck hit the Tigers with the loss on Haley Grossman in the 3rd quarter. Sounds like they were giving Kentwood all they wanted. Hopefully she will be back for the loser-out game in a day or two.

Skyview plays at home tonight. Play well.

With the Bi-District rapped up, and the Winner-to-State Regional games scheduled for Saturday, CONGRATULATIONS to the Falcons, the Storm and the Papermakers on the post season success you have all achieved to date. You have all represented the GSHL very well and best of luck in your continued campaigns.
