It will be close, he had his appendices taken out on the 18th of
January. SO I dont know how long it takes something like that to

Are you sure about that? Over the past couple of days, a thread on Gilbertson's board has been asking the same question, and someone posting as "Swain" said that he's definitely NOT OUT. Of course, it could be a fake poster, but it's there, nevertheless. Here is the link:

Daniel Swain is the number one seed in the district 7 tournament at 112 lbs. Jacob Lauderdale of Lakeside is seeded 2nd. So that answers the question, yes Swain is definately still wrestling.

NO he is not out you will see him tomorrow at districts ready to go! He had a ruptured appendix for four days had emergency surgery on the 18th got out of hospital on the 22nd. Doctor cleared him and he is ready to wrestle. It use to take a month but not any more.
