Wentworth Military College reinstated their basketball program in 2011-12 after a long absence. During that first season, as you can imagine, Wentworth finished last in NJCAA Region 16 (D-2). During the inaugural campaign the Red Dragons finished 4-19 and 0-6 in Region play.

What a difference a year makes. The Red Dragons set school records for wins in a season, fewest losses in a season, and were Region 16 NJCAA Co-Champions, going from Worst to First[/B]. The Red Dragons broke into the NJCAA Top 20 ? among the "Elite" programs in the Nation. Finishing the season with a record of 19-9, Wentworth plans to build off the success of the just completed campaign.

The Red Dragons are in need of a point guard, a shooting guard, and a dominating "big" man. We will be replacing three starters and the top two spots off the bench. The players we recruit MUST have the ability to come in and immediately compete for the starting position as they will be replacing a 2nd Team All-American and a 1st Team All-Region 16 player. Our 2012-13 team set the bar on who were are. In order to get to the next level we need young men who can get it done.

Where is Wentworth located?[/B] Wentworth is located in Lexington, MO, just forty-five minutes from downtown Kansas City. One of the oldest two-year colleges west of the Mississippi, Wentworth Military College was founded in 1923.

Attached is our link to our Prospective Player profile. If you have the ability and desire to play on the college level with a Nationally ranked program (both the NJCAA and the USCAA), please fill out the link and get it back to me as soon as possible.
