It's in the early discussion stages (this type of thing would take years to get together), but still an interesting thought..... Mark Morris (1200 students, 2A) and R.A. Long (1000 students, 2A) may combine into one big 4A high school within the next 5-10 years.
Dropping enrollments at both schools are to blame for the discussion of this possible move. I assume it's because, well... it's Longview... drug activity and crime surging, definitely not a good place to raise your kids... people moving out of the area and settling elsewhere, seems like...
Obviously, this is in no way for certain, but with the possibility looming.... does anybody have any thoughts on this issue? Good/bad?
