What a great day it was Saturday morning at Lakewwod High School. Perfect running weather, lots of runners and a fast course. In the girls varsity race Glacier Peak's freshman Amy-Elosise Neale was in the lead the whole race out pacing Northwest's Maddie Meyers and Juante's Tansey Lystad in a new course record of 18:22. Glacier Peak's girls won the team title with 32 points, followed by Sehome with 104 and Arlington close behind with 106 points. Lakewood's girls took 7th.
In the boys varsity race Ingraham's Abraham Berhe used a late kick in the final 200 meters to edge out Chris Borg of Penninsula by 1 second. Lakewood's Taylor Guskie was third. Peninsula won the boys title. Glacier Peak's team was third. Lakewood's boys took 5th.
