Sehome outlasts Anacortes.....

.....68-57. Tied at 26 at the half. Ironically Sehome did not use a 2-2-1 press, but Anacortes did. Fun game to watch.

So I know I'm opening myself up to a shot here, but why is it ironic that Sehome didn't press? Because they didn't press and still won? Because Anacortes did press and lost? Both?

(Yes Warrant, I was a bit surprised by the score but not necessarily the outcome)

It's ironic in the sense Sehome did not use what has been the cornerstone of their success the last couple of years, the 2-2-1 press, yet their opponent did use it. Sehome did come out with a half court 1-2-2 press in the 2nd half that was pretty effective.

It was a good game until the middle of the third quarter when Anacortes's coach didn't take care of business and started knee jerk substituting. The game was over from that point. I don't think presses had anything to do with the outcome. I enjoyed half the game anyway.
