Wow! Selah sure is lucky. For the second year in a row the pools at their tourney seem, on the surface, to be very lopsided and Selah has again escaped the pool that, on the surface, appears to be the tougher one. How amazingly lucky Selah is. Pool A includes Selah, Riverside Christian, White Swan, and Naches. Pool B has Davis, West Valley, Wapato, and Zillah. The random draw has smiled on the host team!

Hosting has its benefits. lol Postman...by the looks of the Summer AAU scores, I'm assuming Zillah does not have all their horses playing.

Zillah has played all but 1 of their league games without Sybouts, that was the Ike game Tuesday. And Marquis missed a couple games, Jake missed the first game. I guess Zach just doesn't feel like playing much this summer and doesn't feel he needs too. It would be nice to have all the guys playing together. They need to get used to each other. Losing three starters, plus getting Martinez back after missing last year, plus Logan Bounds missed all last year, plus Jake didn't play a ton of minutes last year. Hopefully Zach will go to the Seattle Christian tourney next weekend. That's gonna be a tough one. Heck, we could use him this weekend at Selah too.

Last night they lost to Davis in a game that was close until the last 2 minutes or so. But that was with very little subbing and the guys were dragging in the 4th. Really, they've played pretty well, despite being 0-5, but haven't been able to pull out a win yet. They did go 4-2 in the Sunnyside tourney to take 3rd place. This is definitely not last years team though.
