#1 Asotin, the Panthers have the makings to go all the way this year. Look for a dogfight on the 13th of September in Asotin to decide the #1 slot out of the SE.
#2 Desales, the perennial powerhouse is on a downward spiral. The loss of not only Coach Cox, but now Reinland not turning out will be just too much. The Irish will certainly be the #2 team in the SE, but will just not have the firepower to go very far in the post season.
#3 Waitsburg, only losing three Sr's from last years squad and 29 frosh & Sophs turning out means two things for the Cards. Depth and more experience. While not quite ready to make a run, look for an excited and energetic group to definately start making some noise.
#4 Dayton, and only because of Graham. The loss of Luna hurts an already slim squad, but that slim squad is filled with some quality players, health however may become a factor. Homecoming at Waitsburg on October 13th should decide the #3 slot.
#5 Pomeroy, another young squad, but lacking the experience that Waitsburg has or the skill of Dayton will keep them struggling.
#6 TOR, what can ya say... someday they will eventually get the turnout the tri-combine should permit, but until then they will stay in the cellar.
