Week 5 picks

Wow, this is where high school is just hard to figure out. Last week upsets, Nooksack in a big win over Mt. Baker no one saw coming, and Lakeside over Deer Park which only one person pulled that one out. I was lucky last week only missing the Nooksack game.

Teams are starting to fall into place, so this week should be rather easy, we think?

Because I am so late on getting this out, I will go first........

Nooksack Valley @ Meridian - This is going to be a good game of the unbeaten teams. going with the home field advantage.
Monte @ Forks
Seton Catholic @ Stevenson - I know nothing of these teams for flipped a coin.
Okanogan @ Cashmere
Colville @ Newport - Going against the grain on this one, Colville has been doing rather well lately.
Freeman @ Lakeside - Lakeside didn't let me down last week, they will do it again.
Wahluke @ Royal - um..... yeah
Connell @ Burbank - major shootout, if Burbank doesn't get tired they may stay close.

Nooksack Valley @ Meridian -- Should be a great game. Going with home field

Monte @ Forks -- Too much experience winning big games vs a team who has little success in the recent past.
Seton Catholic @ Stevenson
Okanogan @ Cashmere -- Okanogan looks to be the class of the CTL this year.
Colville @ Newport -- Same analysis as Monte @ Forks
Freeman @ Lakeside -- This should be a great game. Going with home field.
Wahluke @ Royal
Burbank @ Connell -- I expect Connell to turn a corner after a wake up call last week.

Game of the week
Nooksack Valley @ Meridian - I think Meridian will edge this one out

Monte @ Forks - Forks has won big in all 4 games so far this year and would love this to be the upset of the week, but Monte realistically looks like one of the best in the state behind Royal.
Seton Catholic @ Stevenson - Could easily go either way
Okanogan @ Cashmere
Colville @ Newport - Very solid team in colville
Freeman @ Lakeside - Likely another close one
Wahluke @ Royal
Burbank @ Connell
