Somers hits a 3 with 1 second left to tie it. Two best teams the last 3 years. Sad someone has to lose...

Pullman wins in OT 64-58

After a quick basket by Lynden, Pullman wins back-to-back in the 2As. Congrats to Pullman!

Amazing job by Coach Roper considering Lynden graduated their starting 5. But the offense wasn't like some of the other teams that Lynden has had. Defense was very good this year, especially at the end of the season.

Lynden has first, second, and third placings the last 3 years.
Pullman has a seventh and two firsts the last 3 years.
Pullman and Lynden split 2 games the last 3 years.

Also, interesting note, looking at Pullman's b'ball history - losses to Blaine and NV in the championships game. Pullman beats Anacortes and Lynden to win the last 2.

Pullman was tough. Lynden got a lot out of this group of players this season. I think it's safe to say they gave it everything they had. Both Pullman and Clarkston were legit. They "may" have been the best two teams in the State Tournament.
