1A Rankings..tell me that LC's record isnt right and Meridian's record isnt right..and they left Goldendale out and they are 8-0? interesting

Here's my hunch...LC and Meridian play in the uber-tough Northwest conference (NWC) that's stacked with 3A and 2A ranked teams. Because of the strength of their conference they get a bit of leeway. The only way to settle this, of course, will be in November in Yakima. It will be interesting to see how those NWC teams fare at state.

I would say your hunch is right. WIAA has LC losing to Lynden twice (2A #4), Burlington once (2A #3), Mt.Vernon (a quality 3A team), and Mt.Baker. Meridian is in the same boat.

What about Cascade (leavenworth) They are 9-1 also in 1A. Why aren't they up? Connell who is 6-2 is but no Cascade? Wow...

Wish I knew who to contact to get on the mailing list for the volleyball poll. We like to run it in our newspaper, but each year it's a struggle to find the person giving it out.
