Playoffs are around the corner. What teams in the spsl are looking solid for a deep run? My opinions after watching a handful of games and listening to the word on the street:
Tahoma showed that they can drop a game at any time when they lost to Kentlake. Yeah, they definitely have talent. Nothing behind the plate could really bite you against the better teams in the state, however.
Kentridge might also have a good shot but they typically do nothing in the postseason.
In 3a, Auburn showed that they really are miles ahead of the rest of the league. They lost a game to Bonney Lake...but being there to watch in person, it's more accurate to say they lost a game to Kaylor Hasbargen on the mound. He threw the game of his life - all the credit goes to him with that upset. To sum it up... the chances that another pitcher shuts auburn down are slim. But possible!
Bonney lake is a solid team that can make a solid playoff appearance. I like the way the top of their lineup can battle at the plate.
Franklin P, Riverside... both very average. Some solid pitching and a couple players to watch in both lineups but a surprise if they are successful.
