FYI...NW District Tourney

I did not know unitl today, that the NWL gets only 5 births to district instead of the usual 6. Wesco 1 and Cascade 1 are automatic, and the #2's of those league's play off for the 3rd entry. Then they are placed in by league winning percentage. I though I'd pass this along. I had no idea it was this way. I hope Sehome, Ferndale and Anacortes are not as clueless as I was on this.

According to the WIAA site the NW Dist 1 gets 8 berths to districts.

Right. I could have been more clear. The NWL gets 5 teams in, and the Cascade/Wesco combine for the other 3. Last year, the NWL got 6 spots and wesco/cascade 2.
