GNL begins playoffs Tuesday 5/12:

Medical Lake @ West Valley (Loser out)
Colville @ Clarkston (loser out)

Wednesday 5/13

Winner- Medical Lake-West Valley @ Cheney
Winner - Colville-Clarkston @ Pullman

Saturday 5/16

District Finals @ WSU

Hard to figure the GNL right now. All teams have beating each other. Have to give the nod to Cheney but if WV plays to capabilities they can beat everyone. Should be interesting.

Round 1 completed tonight:

West Valley 10 runs Medical Lake 10-0 in 5 innings.
Clarkston defeats Colville 10-1

Round 2 Wednesday:

West Valley at Cheney (split during regular season)
Clarkston at Pullman (Pullman sweeps Clarkston during GNL play)

Championship Day Saturday at WSU

Game 1 Wed winner vs winner (winner GNL 1 to state)
Game 2 Wed loser vs loser (loser out)
Game 3 Game 1 loser vs Game 2 winner (winner GNL 2, loser GNL 3)

Game 1 and 2 could be flip-flopped but that won't change the format for game 3 for the 2nd and 3rd seeds to state

This is now down to a four team double elimination tournament to determine the 3 GNL teams going to the state tournament the following weekend in Yakima. No predictions here. This is anyone's tournament as there is very little separation among these 4 remaining teams.
