#7 Gonzaga over #2 Texas A&M 72-71!
Kayla Standish from Ellensburg had a great game with 8 off the bench and some good defense against the big bodied, long and athletic Texas A&M Aggies.
You got to love it. The Zag Gals are mostly WA kids and looking down their roster is almost like reading posts on here the names are so familiar. Congradulations Lady Bulldogs and keep it rolling. They play like the first two rounds against the winner of the Vanderbilt-Xavier game and they might well advance to face Stanford in the Regional Finals. They are capable of beating either, they'll be underdogs but they are playing very well right now. Getting by Stanford, should they beat Georga, will be a tall task but hey you play once so paint a masterpiece and you never know.
