The freshman logged 36 minutes, scoring 9 points and pulling down 7 rebounds in Washinton's 66-53 win over Oregon this last weekend. Not bad stats for a freshman on a pretty talent-heavy team. Didn't watch the beginning of that game so I'm not sure if she started or just played a lot off the bench but she looked sharp! She really played a solid game on both ends.

Go Falcons (former)!

The starter is back from injury so Heather's minutes will go back down. My guess is that she will be a starter next year.

Definitely. Love seeing the Corrals continue to be effective at the next level. You kind of wonder if Ashley will make another run at a pro team next year. I saw that she made the training camp roster for the Seattle Storm but didn't make the final cut.

I kind of hope that Ashley sees the writing on the wall and begins to move on to the next phase of her life. Not many are going to be able to play pro after college and even those who do find it is short lived. I think Heather has a better plan.
