Gateman won the decision 6-3 I believe. It was just an outstanding match. Gateman looked to be one move ahead of Belleville the entire match. But when it comes down to the brass tacks of it all, I think that if these two wrestled 10 matches, it would be 5 and 5. I am pulling for both these class act wrestlers to win state titles at their respective weight classes and classifications.
Over all the tournement was a little down from last year with some of the competition opting out and going elsewhere... such as Chehalis, Chelan, Orting, and Othello. But it was a great tournement none-the-less. Any other questions about matches, just go ahead an ask, I was there the entire time and watches a large majority of the matches. Congrats to all teams and wrestlers. I am counting the days to Mat Classic.
