Can any other school in the state claim to have brought home as much hardware as the Ephrata girls team? Genissa Borning, state singles champion...Courtney Webb and Holly Hutchinson, state doubles champions...Mary Senn and Lydia Hennig sixth place....Ephrata Tigers state girls team champions.

The only shame now is to see those girls graduate and take all that talent with them. Congratulations to them all.

yea court and holly were a little off in the first set and ridgefield took advantage of it, but luckily ephrata got back on track and was able to win the match. Third times the charm...=)

Bellevue High had two girls play each other for the title in 3A. The winner was a Freshman!

Yeah that Freshman girl from Bellevue is Nicole Novikova. She didnt lose a match let alone a set all year! She is BY FAR the best tennis player in the state. She really does play like a pro. She is uncertain if she is going to even play high school tennis next year because of the lack of competition for her. Talk about a future pro.

That's silly. Molly Knox of Hanford didn't play that well and gave her a good match (7-5, 6-2). She is not pro material. College yes, pro no.
