Re: ILeague sports
Email us at info@ileague.us / ron@ ileague.us - look at the iLeague.us about page - read / watch the video's- go through the examples in Lynden football 2012 and through Lynden Christian basketball 2011/2012. It will be great if you are part of a booster club already but if not take it to your AD and let them look at the system. ( here in a couple weeks we will have a spot for the Athletic Department -they will be able to post in a bulletin board style , pictures , news, updates from their phone) so many folks are switching to smart phones - last minute news on which door is open/ calls for last minute volunteer help-ect ect.
Grab a couple people who want to do fund raising/ protect history / and realize the real power lies in the thousands of alumni that would follow/do already casually follow their old teams but now you make it easy. There are so many information sources much of what you do is provide a central hub and then you add your own twist by doing pregame & post game analysis.
- one can learn how the system works in about a hour - we kept it simple . There are many 501c clubs already out there that are ready to go , we offer up to a year learning and building phase before the subscription costs any money- if you don't have a booster club, find a local business / or individual that can sign the operating contract with us - as a business understands the prime advertising Realestate ileague provides they will jump to help. ( you can open up a single sport if you want - one of the biggest complaints in booster clubs is one sport getting all the attention - with ileague if you have a decent writer you can

really help grow the viewership of less attended sports- with iLeague, each sport has equal opportunity to fund raise all it takes is a few individuals who attend these events - capture links to news- take pictures/ video and write a recap from the teams perspective. Our template schools are really starting to gain attention. ( remember we are early here - you are seeing something that will not be advertised outside of NWC for awhile yet. Don't let that stop you, we just want the clubs who run ileague to be truly interested in being effective and it takes some time for those folks to appear. So we are focused on NwC, readers/ contributors to Washington Preps are naturally more tuned to be the ones to bring this into their favorite team. *you can create a custom school app or just by linking to your existing website all the work many of you have already done is not wasted it just becomes another information source that feeds your Ileague out reach tool.
To sum it up- there is a great deal of time being used on traditional fund raising- how much better would it be to have a couple thousand viewers spread around the world who can closely follow all team(s) news brought to you by the folks who love and know the team/ kids /coaches and culture best- feed your supporters that internal news allow them access to your competitors site doing the same - how much more fun could it be. ( of course we don't suggest putting up secret strategy and such
. Unless you are about to play Lynden or LC
my home town personal favorites.
we offer the ability to increase attendance especially if you get the kids involved telling the community to come watch-( be creative add context to your season - so supporters can miss a couple games and by reading off their phone they can still feel tuned in) hand out free tickets in the neighborhood - do promotional events that increase attendance instead of the somewhat dreary work it takes to once again hit the same business and individuals for 500.00$ at a wack- along with getting gramma and uncle sue to buy another coupon that never gets used. It takes some vision beyond a single fund raising need, to want to get involved with ileague as it is going to take awhile to organize- ( much of this work can be done wearing PJ's with a cup of coffee) start building your historical info- your current info - who is going to be your sports information director( SID- all colleges now have them to do just what were talking about and many colleges are still missing the boat on connecting with alumni. * key point - involve your AD early, don't make their job harder- done right ileague makes their job easier. Follow what were doing but better yet be the ones who realize the world and draw is much bigger than the next chaos filed spaghetti feed/ how cool would it be to capture and live stream a booster auction to 3000 potential bidders?. We know it will take some time and some work - most likely it will be a team of 10 people who just truly want to be effective and build a long term productive out reach but then isn't that what we keep telling the kids it takes to make the varsity team?.
