Lummi put up some impressive passing numbers, and were in firm control of this game from kickoff to the final tick of the clock vs. a young, strong, Pe Ell team. Congrats to Coach Sandusky and all that he has done to get the Lummi First Nation and thier High School football program going in just 4years of it's existance. Without a guy like Jim giving his time and dedication to the Lummi tribe, alot of those boys wouldn't even be attending school. Good Luck BLACHAWKS.....you make us, in Whatcom County proud. Hopefully you boys are proud to be the future of the Lummi First Nations people aswell.
So warm up the skins on the drums, and get ready to sing and cheer your Blackhawks on. They face a 3time defending State Champion in Lacrosse-Washtucna next week.
One key piece of advice, you got way too many personal fouls called against you. So try to keep the mouth closed and let your play do the talking(I know it's hard to do sometimes). There is no way you will beat a team like Lacrosse-Washtucna with the smack talking that was going on down on the field against Pe Ell Saturday.
