Twas the night before Christmas
In the great North West
Few teams are now playing
As they prepare for the test

In Blaine they remember
The skills of young Luke
Old dudes still swear
It wasn’t a fluke

To the East we go
Where they’re known as "The ‘Sak"
But they’re missing Impero
Who went to the rack

Coach Crawford does fear
His Raiders will feel
The damp of the cellar
As they give up the steal

The Eagles are soaring
With the bigs down under
But the play of their guards
Might break up the thunder

Now out to Mt Baker
The red and the black
Do mix it up & aren’t
Afraid of the hack

The Lions indeed
Want to be King
There’s reason to hope
That they might indeed sing

Now off to the island
Where the Hawks make their nest
And throwing up 3’s
Like young boys possessed

The Tigers “meow”
Compared to the past
New coach & players
Who gotta learn fast

(Part 2 to follow)
