Rochester Hangs on over Eatonville - pictures and details

Cruisers finally were able to get a home game in. Rochester jumps out to an early 6 run lead. Eatonville took a few innings to get the bats going and had a few errors on the field to start with but they hung in there keeping their heads in the game. Rochester is sailing right along until the Cruisers get their first hit and then string several together over 4 innings. They go into the 7th down by 3, load the bases with no outs, get a few walks to bring it to within 2 runs and Rochester makes a pitching move. Fielders choice and then a line drive to 1 base for the double play to end the game. It was nice to see a good crowd of supporters at this game.

Missed the second game.

Shoot..... I left right as the game ended and didn't realize they played a double header. Rochester won that one 11-2.
