There were elbows, nasty tackles, lots of complaining and even blood was drawn in this game. Fife put plenty of shots on goal throughout the game but a few lapses let the Cruisers score 2 goals. Fife finally put it away with 8 minutes remaining, but the player who scored the go ahead did not stay in the game long when a high kick that wasn't called opened up a cut below her eye, it didn't look too bad. Ref lost control of the physical game early on and didn't try to calm things down until mid second half but by then it was too late and both teams were really going at it.
This is becoming a good rivalry game between these two teams.
