wow, 2A Murphy (12-1) hands #1 1A Kings their first loss and two things do not happen?:

2. Kings still at #1?

Is it possible that 1A polls reflect results of Spokane Crossover even if not included in record? If so, Kings beating Selah and East Valley should have bought them some cover. Although that also should have added some weight to ATM's victory over Kings. Maybe Chelan had a good tournament too? "Wierd" captures it pretty well CF!

Mark Morris is a real tough team, they nearly were defeated by Hockinson but showed some real strength.

I agree that the Crossover wins have helped them. To lose to a tough 2A is not a reason to move down on the rankings. Does anyone know if King's was at full strength in the match. We all know that one sick or injured kid can make a difference. Chelan beat Cascade a couple of weeks ago, I think it just took a week for the polls to catch up.

According to the Kings/ATM highlights Cesari, Kertin, Friar and Irish all played for Kings. As for the 2A polls, everyone on the list is a successful program with a good record so it is hard to compare without some head to head results.

I believe Kings was defeated at the Spokane Crossover by 1A Lakeside who is unranked.

....this is just what i've heard.
