Forks and Lacenter could end up in a tie if Forks beats them in forks tomorrow. Does anyone know how the tie-breaker works this year? I heard it was by the goals against the two teams.

Since one of the two (the "third place" team) could potentially miss the state playoffs (with a loss at districts to #4 Stevenson) they won't use any tie-breaker. Instead, the two will have to play to break the tie. From what I hear, that would be Monday next week at a location tbd. The winner would be #2, to face White Salmon, and the loser to be #3, to play Stevenson for the last spot to state.

If LaCenter wins on Friday, no game will be necessary; if Forks wins, they'll have to play again, probably at a neutral location.

Should be interesting.

You'll find the district 4 sops at the link below.
