Very nice, congratulations to Mattair!

I hear Peavey got picked pretty low.

Anyone know what he got, who took him?

One correction on Mattair ... He was selected #83 by the Phillies, not the Twins ... Way to go Moose !!!

Accoring to the draft tacker on the MLB site, Peavy was not selected in the first 5 rounds.

Next highest high school pick from the state of Washington is Steven Souza from Cascade HS. Souza was tabbed a two way prospect as RHP or Infielder. He was drafted by the Washington Senators as the 100th overall pick in the third round as a third baseman.

Next up is Justin Biel OF from Inglemoor HS. He was drafted by Tampa Bay in the 5th round as the 155th overall pick.

Neither Peavey or Sampson were drafted today in the first five rounds. Both were originally projected as 90-110 overall picks. The last pick of the 5th round ended today at 184 players taken.
