WIAA Blowing Up Tournaments???? Again

Insiders have confirmed that WIAA is looking at totally blowing up the current basketball format....

The plan would reduce the brackets to 8-teams and combine the 3A and 4A in Tacoma, the 1A and 2A in Yakima and the 1B and 2B in Spokane.
The issue, once again, is finances and the fact that no one wants to to Tacoma and watch basketball.
A suggestion to all basketball fans....express your concern at this development and do so loudly...and soon.

The WIAA should blow up the classifications

Keep the 16 team tournaments - makes for good 4 day action.

But take it back to AAA, AA, A and B. Six classifications is way too many. Too much gerrymandering and creative accounting between the 4A and 3A worlds.

Problem solved.
