Amazing! Zillah girls top Burbank 50-39 to earn a state berth and the opportunity to play Granger for the district title next Saturday. Really I didn't think these girls had much of a chance of going to state this year. They have now won 11 of their last 12 including the win over #1 and unbeaten Granger and now defeating a team who has only lost 3 games or so and have been ranked in the top 10 most of the year. Zillah hasn't even been mentioned as a team to watch, right up to the last ranking. And rightly so. Nice job girls. Go get Gramger.
