Thanks for posting the rankings but who in the world are the associated coaches who put this together? By what criteria do they use? I would think that the Spokane Crossover Tournament would have been the perfect tool to not only see how teams do against other classifications, but how teams stack up against other districts within their class. At Spokane, Cedar Park Christian #9 1A beat Cascade Christian #8 1A and Goldendale #6 1A. They were within match point of beating Auburn Riverside #3 3A in the semi-finals. I’m sure there are other examples of this that didn’t get considered when ranking. In the end, Nov. 10th is when it really matters but if someone bothers to vote in a poll, they should know how the top teams have done against each other. Go CPC Eagles!!!

I don't know who votes either, but I'd bet they ignore tournaments. I think they just look at regular season matches.

That seems to be the case. Just about every ranked team has about the same record, 1 or no losses, and those teams don’t play each other during the regular season. That is why they should look at tournament play. Maybe that info is just not out there. I was surprised I couldn’t find a website that had the Spokane Tourney results. I guess you need a reputation on top of a good record for a decent ranking. Unfortunately for CPC, they are in a league that hasn’t produced a top 5 team in the past decade. They have one of the best outside hitter in 1A, a great setter, and a solid defense. They’ll surprise some teams at State this year.
