Well the regular season is complete and in the books. Now it is time to look at the remaining 16 teams in the state with 4 teams still unbeaten, and several with some early season losses, this should be a fun tournament to watch.

Through week 10 ---
MikeBacker32 - (5-1 last week, 41-19 Overall)
OldGrenadier - (5-1 last week, 35-17 Overall)
WashingtonSports - (5-1 last week, 41-19 Overall)
LineBacker_65 - (5-3 Overall)
LCDad - (5-3 Overall)
Ducks&Beavers- (1-1 Overall)
Wahfan11 (6-0 last week, 6-0 Overall) - Comes in and is perfect 6 for 6

With only 8 games this week and starting the playoffs we are going to start everyone from scratch so anyone can join in. Lets get the west side and east side guessing on the games, there are some football savvy people out there just itching to prove they can pick em all. Lets see what you got.

OK, I will start the guessing.

West Side
Charles Wright (4-5) @ Eatonville (9-0) - Eatonville seems to be rolling strong and should have no problems in this one (42-0)
* Montesano (7-3) @ Mt. Baker (8-2) - I think this will be the Westside Game of the week. Both are strong teams with experience in the post season. Mt. Baker will slide through on a missed 2pt conversion by Monte.
Hoquiam (7-3) @ Cascade Christian (9-0) - CC is always strong through the first rounds and will prove to be too much for Hoquiam. CC (35-14)
Kings (8-2) @ LaCenter (6-3) - With a soft league, LaCenter looked to some big 2A schools for competition which hurt their record, but gave them a little taste of what playing Kings will be like. Kings did likewise. this will be a strong battle, but Kings will prevail (21-14)

East Side
* Freeman (8-1) @ Zillah (10-0) - For the Eastside, this should be the game of the week. This is the only league Zillah has not played, Even with Dunsmore out they are still finding ways to win. This week will be a struggle, but again they will find a way to win. Zillah (21-20)
Connell (5-5) @ Cascade (6-3) - Connell is hot and cold. Cascade is on a role, this game could go any direction. With the cold weather and snow in Leavenworth, Cascade will have a big advantage. Cascade (35-21)
La Salle (8-2) @ Colville (9-0) - Colville is back in the 1A and wanting to make a statement, and the cold weather will impact the lightning passing game. Colville (42-18)
Lakeside (8-2) @ Royal (9-1) - Lakeside's win last week showed a great offence, but a lack of D. Royal is not a team that will be gentle on offence, but also gave up way too much to Granger last week. Royal (42-21)

West Side
Eatonville 49-13
Mt. Baker 35-21
CC 49-6
Kings 42-21

East Side
Freeman 35-14
Cascade 21-14
Colville 42-14
Royal 20-13

Eatonville 35-7
Mt. Baker 21-20
Cascade Christian 28-7
King's 34-14

Freeman 28-20
Cascade 35-14
Colville 48-14
Royal 35-21

West Side

Eatonville easy over CW 27-7
Mt. Baker over Monte, could go either way 35-32
CC easy over Hoquiam 35-10
Kings easy over LaCenter 28-14

East Side

Freeman over Zillah, Freeman rekindles it's postseason magic from last year 35-28
Cascade surprisingly easy over Connell, 28-7
Colville (notice there's only 1 "e") over LaSalle, Colville finally gets rid of its first round woes 35-7
Royal over Lakeside in a shootout, Lakeside is weaker than their record shows, 49-35

Beginner's Luck!!

Eatonville
Montesano
CC
Kings
Freeman
Cascade
Colville
Royal

Eatonville over CW, without much trouble
Montesano always seems to play their best late in the season, so I am taking Montesano over Mt Baker in the upset.
Cascade Christian should dispatch Hoquiam
Kings over LaCenter

Zillah is healthy again. This one could be interesting. I'll take Freeman by a narrow margin.
Will the Eagles be able to slow Merritt? I'll take Cascade.
Two wildly different offensive schemes. Which offense is better at what they do? I'll take Colville.

West Side
Charles Wright (4-5) @ Eatonville (9-0) -- Cruisers win but it is close, by 7
Montesano (7-3) @ Mt. Baker (8-2) -- Baker by 14
Hoquiam (7-3) @ Cascade Christian (9-0) -- as per my tradition, no pick. (Go Cougs!)
Kings (8-2) @ LaCenter (6-3) -- Lacenter lost to 3 2A schools, two of which are still undefeated, I think they are a sleeper. Wildcats by 6

East Side
Freeman (8-1)@ Zillah (10-0) Defending champs always fall hard, and Zillah has a history of losing early. Scotties by 10
Connell (5-5) @ Cascade (6-3) Eagles by 14
La Salle (8-2) @ Colville (9-0) Colville by 28
Lakeside (8-2) @ Royal (9-1) Royal by 17
