A couple of interesting points....at least they seem interesting to me. On the boys side, nearly all the best times last weekend were from the Evergreen league. Conversely, ALL the best times in the girls running events were from the Trico league.

One very close race no one has yet mentioned is the girls 4x200. White Salmon and Hoquiam each won subs with a time within 1 tenth of a second. I'm guessing that comes down to handoffs. Whoever has the smoother handoffs will win.

Good luck to all on Friday!

So stansell didn't win an event, but did he qualify in all three? In my opinion the most exciting race will be the guys 4 by 400. Potentially at least 4 teams going under 3:40...its a fight for the win, which could determine district champs.

The 4x4 is going to be the closest race of the meet, no matter what the outcome the overall title will still be between Hoquiam and Elma. The winner will break a 3:35

What are you talking about the Elma four by four isn't good, I don't think the guys even qualified for districts! Four by ONE will be good though...

Are you that illiterate? I said the winner of the OVERALL meet will be between Hoquiam and Elma not just the 4x4

I think the overall title will come down between Hoquiam, Elma, and Hockinson. Predictions are: Hoquiam-97, Hockinson-86, and Elma-78. I think Hoquiam just has too many athletes at the meet for any team to catch them.
