2A Grandview wins Crossover Classic

Just saw this reported on the spokesman-review website. GV beat 3-time 4A state champ Mead in the semis and then Wenatchee in the finals. First time a 2A level school has won this event in its 13 year history.

Great accomplishment for the Lady Hounds. There were a total of 54 teams in this tournament. Nice work!

Very impressive showing by our gals. We got Prosser football and Grandview volleyball who can compete with anyone in the state regardless of classification. The hounds only have two seniors as well. The future is very bright, and hopefully shiney with a goldball coming in about a month.

Shhhhhhhhh. Don't hex us now. Cougs got the W this weekend...although pretty ugly. Hopefully they are saving something for Cal and Oregon.
