Final: Squalicum wins 2A State 4-2

Squalicum played a quality season and continued to pickup big wins. The win over Sehome in the quarterfinals put them over the top. Big wins over Archbishop Murphy in the semis then Cheney in the finals.

Great year by the Storm and this makes it back-to-back state titles for the NWC 2A teams.

Congrats to Cheney on a great season too.

From BHS Class of '82, congratulations goes out to another team taking home the 2A State Title to Bellingham! Hope you guys can keep it up there next season.

I'm down in the lower part of the state now, and we played Lynden Christian in our opening 1A round. Another good team from the Bellingham area. There must be something in the water up there, eh?

Otherwise, good to see an area investing itself in youth soccer. It's a great benefit to the kids in your area.... and soccer fans alike...
