Since it is my business to carry the flag for small schools, I will try and keep the conversation going here. Most important, are just scores since the 1B and 2B schools are the most ignored by area newspapers and internet sources.
Napavine came up with a pretty good victory last night at Toledo. 54-51 in a game that hed just about everything. At times, the Tigers jumped way out front and then Toledo would slowly work their way back. Technical fouls and confusion were an added excitement during the 4th quarter.
On Tuesday night, I watched Toutle lake tag Winlock pretty well 73-46. At one point in the 3rd quarter, the Cards got to within 10 points. I knew that the Cardinals would struggle, but let it be known that there is a quality basketball team next to the Toutle River. The two teams face each other again this Friday in Winlock.
Can't waith for the South Bend-Onalaska match this week. The first match-up was postponed.
