District allocations for spring sports are out at wiaa.com. There is good news for 1A and B classification boy golfers. There are exactly 40 1A teams and 40 teams in the combined B classification. These means the fields of each these classifications will have 80 golfers teeing off the first day of state. The girls 1A and B tournaments will each begin with 40 golfers. Many boys in fall golf leagues were "on the bubble" waiting for the allocation announcement. They will get to advance.
