hudson bay scratches out of triple jump and state

Magaiva Herman triple jumper from hudson bay scratched out at mount tahoma today he will not be at state this year, and while he hasnt been consistent this year he had the states best jump of 48'10 and could have possibly won state. i dont really understand why he tryed to go all out every jump! he could have jumped a step back from the board and still qualified for state or atleast the finals to go to state. sad.
