Apparently, Chimacum's stud sophomore did not pitch at all, and LaRoy threw but one inning (the seventh; 3 up, 3 down).

Very cool that these teams scheduled a nonleague game. Oughta boost their respective RPI's. Wait, wrong sport.

He ws not able to throw on Sat vs Kalama. On rest due to 5+ innings on Friday......which was a loss for him (and Chim) btw.

According to the link that you posted, Cray would have taken the no decision. It looks like he had a no hit, shut-out going and Chimacum was winning 3-0 when he came out?

Sea Times is horible for details. A couple of newspapers showed only one pitcher and one catcher for Chim on Friday........I guess he threw a CG.

I merely included that detail because any "honest" matchup between these two teams would involve both aces starting on full rest.

Wasn't implying anything weird about him not starting.
