...68-34, and it wasn't that close. All I can say is Wow! The Lions, playing their first game of the season, against a good Sehome team, on the road, absolutely clown-stomped the Mariners. Lynden shot 57% from the field, 45% from 3 point land, and about 6 of 8 from the foul line. On top of that, they out rebounded Sehome 35-17, and held Noah Cyr-Moore, the Mariners leading scorer to zero points for the game.

Also worth noting, going into tonight's game Lynden was ranked #1 in the State and Sehome was ranked #9 in the TNT basketball rankings in 2A. Just sayin'.

Scary to think how good this Lynden team could be. Just over a week ago, they were still playing football, meanwhile, Sehome has been playing basketball for weeks. Impressive opening game to say the least.

Agree. This years' class and last year's class at Lynden could go down as one of the best ever.

Wasn't at the game, but I noticed that Matt Meyer didn't score. Did he play much at all?
