As we come down to the wire there are some spots still undecided for the District Tournament. Lynden is pretty much a lock to be the #1 seed with only 3 Conference games left. I think Anacortes (7-2) has the best shot at the #2 Seed. They are one game up on the 3 teams behind them, and their schedule looks favorable. The Seahawks still play Mount Baker, Ferndale, and then finish up with a toughie at Squalicum. Burlington-Edison (7-3) has 2 Conference games left. They play at Blaine, then finish up at home in what could be the deciding game for the 4th Seed against Sehome. Squalicum (7-3) has a couple of very difficult games left to finish up their Conference schedule. The Storm travels to Lynden Christian on Monday before finishing up at home against Anacortes. Sehome (6-3) has the most work to do. The Mariners travel to Meridian on Tuesday, then follow-up with a home game against L.C., and finish the season at B.E.

Making a few assumptions; that Sehome will beat Meridian and Burlington beats Blaine then the final game between B-E and Sehome should be fun to watch playing for the 3rd seed most likely. If Sehome wins then B-E would get 4th seed regardless of what Squalicum does due to head to head. Squalicum needs to upset Anacortes and hope Sehome loses to both L.C & B-E to have a chance at the 4th seed. Should be a fun last week.

Assuming the Conference uses tie-breakers, B.E. has already beaten Squalicum which has 4 losses. All Burlington has to do is beat Blaine and they can finish no worse than 8-4 in Conference, which is also the best The Storm can do. I think it comes down to Squalicum and Sehome for the final spot.
