[Smallpox]

The semis will be rematches of two recent (within the last year) games b/t:

Anacortes and Pullman - last year's championship
Lake Washington and Lynden - several weeks ago - dist 1 championship.

Both of these games the winner was losing going into the 4th Q.
District 1 has 3 of the 4 semi teams. (Added note, Dist 1 also has 3 of the 4 girls teams in 1A).
The NWC has 2 of the 4 semi teams.

I can see these 2 games going either way. Should be 2 good games.

Did you say there were 2 NWC teams in the final 4? Not bad for a "weak" conference.

Lol. I don't think anyone said the NWC is weak. I said they were down from previous years, and they were. Before folks start getting giddy, let's see if any of them can beat Pullman. The Anacortes vs Pullman matchup should be a good one.

I did say that! But, everyone that I have talked around here has said the NWC 2a teams were down. Having said that, the whole state could be down, too. For what its worth Lynden and Anacortes are playing its best basketball right now for sure. That is the reason they are in the semis.
