The Knights looked sharp in their first outing against the Ephrata Tigers and jumped to a 28-0 halftime lead before cruising to a 45-0 final. Royal racked up over 400 yards of offense while holding the Tigers to just over 100 yards. Kaden Jenks threw for over 200 yards and connected with 7 different receivers en route to a 3 TD night. The Knights also rushed for over 200 yards with the bulk of that being shouldered by Joe Lang. Lang had 9 carries for 121 yards and 2 TD’s. Sam Christensen led the Knights defensively with 7 tackles. In total, 17 Knights had at least 1 tackle.
