The SPARQ Rating is the first-ever system designed to measure sport-specific athleticism. Created to capture the key aspects of athleticism, these tests are combined and weighted in a unique proprietary formula.

In other words, it’s the difference between legging out a routine infield grounder and going back to the bench. As a high school player, in an average high school season, beating the throw just 10 more times a season could turn you from a .250 hitter into a .350 prospect. And for reference, 4.2 seconds is the time scouts use to determine whether a prospect has the footspeed necessary to take bases at the next level.

Baseball Exposure tournaments are starting to offer SPARQ testing as an added tool for college recruiters to compare athleticism of different potential recruits. Now is the time to prepare for exposure tournaments

Homefield Batting Cages in Tacoma is now offering certified SPARQ Testing and Training for Baseball on Sunday Feb 18 - 1:30pm to 6:00 pm - Registration and Information is available from Kim Fields - email Homefield66@gmail.com or 253-592-9061
