This is not a prediction, but a cheer - GO BRUINS!!! I have watched the Columbia (White Salmon) soccer team from the beginning back in 2001, when they had to do fund-raisers just to field a team. I watched their very first State game (a loss) and got to see the most recent win last Saturday. Even though both my sons have graduated I am still so proud of the kids and the coaching staff, and how far they have come in a short period. Could this be their first State Championship?

It would be good to see Columbia pull it off, it would be payment for all of us that built this program from the ground up. I hope the Bruins bring back the title...
