West Valley ran it's record to 18-0, 16-0 in the Great Northern League with a 7-0 win over second place East Valley. West Valley finishes the regular season Saturday with a DH against Clarkston at West Valley.
West Valley has four girls who play high level summer ball. The shortstop and the pitcher are both big game players. The other girls are the right fielder who has tremendous power and the catcher, who hits and has a great arm and is a freshman. There are several other girls who have played very well. They are a very good team. How far they go i believe will be how well they play defense. Coach Paul Cooley has pushed all the right buttons so far this season.
